CLASSES & QUALIFICATIONS

Voting Members (Qualifying Agent of "R" Agency) of the Corporation shall be those individuals who are duly licensed by the State of Florida, pursuant to Chapter 493, Florida Statutes, as holding a valid Class "E" license as defined therein; engaged in business as a recovery agent; and currently own or serve as a qualifying agent for an entity holding a valid Class "R" license pursuant to Chapter 493, Florida Statutes.

Associate Members (E or EE Licensed Agent) shall be those persons who currently own or are employed by a voting member and are duly licensed by the State Of Florida pursuant to Chapter 493, Florida Statutes to act as a recovery agent as defined therein and holding a valid Class "E" license or Class "EE" license as defined therein. The employing/voting member shall verify the employment and license status of the associate member at the time the associate member applies for membership.

Affiliate Members shall be those persons, firms, corporations, or associations who are owners or employees of a repossession business located outside of Florida, or who are in an affiliated business to the repossession industry, or who are exempt from licensing pursuant to applicable Florida Statutes.

Life Members shall be those persons who are at least 70 years old and have been a member of FALR for at least 15 years. Free

Corporate Sponsor Members shall be those persons, firms, corporations, or associations who are owners or employees of a company that supplies goods and services to the repossession industry including, by way of example, but not limited to a licensee pursuant to Chapter 493, Florida Statute as a Recovery Agent School or training facility as defined therein and holding a valid Class "RS" license.

An individual who qualifies for more than one class of membership shall apply for membership under one classification only, except that if an individual qualifies for Voting Member or Life Member, the individual may be listed in the FALR Directory under the classifications of memberships that the individual qualifies for. Said listings shall be consistent with FALR policy then in effect.

Dues: FALR Membership dues are annual: January 1 - December 31

New members must complete and submit the membership form within 30 days of payment.
Failure to do so will result in the cancelation of membership. No refunds will be issued.
